About Lushi Wellness Society

A wellness club, a community, a practice.

Lushi is a wellness society in Punta del Este: a physical studio with eight classes a day, a Saturday community run, Wednesday workshops, retreats by the ocean, and a small curated shop for the practice.

Mission

Improve, uplift, strengthen, and rehabilitate not only our generation but also the next one. A space for all.

The founder

Why Lushi exists.

Founded by Jessica Schaefer.

Founded by Jessica Schaefer.

Jessica is the founder and CEO of Lushi. She previously founded and sold Bevel, a strategic communications firm for technology and venture capital, in a $75M deal. Lushi grew out of her own wellness journey and her conviction that the wellness industry needed a community-first, editorial-honest brand. She is also the founder of Capital V Strategies and was named to Inc. magazine's 2025 Female Founders 500 list.

Origin

How we got here.

Why Punta del Este.

Why Punta del Este.

We picked La Barra, Punta del Este, because the rhythm fits the practice: ocean, light, slower seasons, a community ready to gather. The studio sits in La Barra off Ruta 10, two storefronts with two practice rooms, a garden, a cafe corner, and apartments above for retreat guests.

The pivot.

The pivot.

Lushi began as a fertility wellness platform. In 2026 we pivoted to the Wellness Society shape we live now: a physical club, a community, a curated shop, with the editorial honesty that defined the original brand.

What we believe.
Values

What we believe.

Four things that shape every decision.

01

Practice, not posing.

We care about who shows up week after week, not how it photographs.

02

Community over content.

The Saturday run is the soul of the place. Workshops are about people, not influencers.

03

Editorial honesty.

Every product, every retreat, every workshop comes with a clear case for what it is and who it's for.

04

A space for all.

We mean it. Adjust the practice, walk the run, take the workshop in your own way.
